Whirls of gold

It all begins with a thread of gold, twisting, coiling, winding upon itself until it becomes a design both sensual and original. From this apparent simplicity emerges a refined, alluring style. Fluid lines trace the body, caressing its contours with quiet grace. Interpreting this trend are maisons such as Mattioli, Recarlo and Giorgio Visconti, each leaving its own distinctive mark. With the Tibet collection, Mattioli pays homage to an ancient Himalayan tradition passed down from mother to daughter: the art of hand-twisting gold wire. Every coil, imperceptibly different from the next, carries a wish for prosperity and harmony: a circle symbolising the flow of life. Giorgio Visconti, on the other hand, explores the movement of colour. The Like Me Chapter II collection alternates vibrant gemstones and pavé-set diamonds to create lines that appear to float in mid-air. Gold bends and curves with natural ease, following the body’s silhouette. It tells the story of a confident, daring femininity, one that expresses strength through lightness. Finally, Recarlo revisits one of its most beloved designs: the contrarié necklace, now reimagined in a minimal version crafted in sunset gold, wrapping the neck with a quiet, graceful intensity.
